Dorje Lakpa Expedition, an attractive mountain which is located in the Langtang region of Nepal. It is one of the most popular Expedition mountains within Langtang region. The fascinating mountain rises to the East of Langtang valley and South of Mount Shishapangma of Tibet. Mt Dorje Lakpa has earned its reputation for having high avalanche risks. However, Mount Dorje Lakpa is widely acknowledged for its elegant pyramid shaped figure which receives challenge seeking climber’s attention. First recorded ascent of Mount Dorje Lakpa was made by a Japanese Expedition in the late 1960’s. Apart from the challenging and thrilling experience of Mt Dorje Lakpa Expedition, opportunity for exploring the rich natural wonders of the less beaten region of Langtang valley surely provides an incredible experience for enthusiastic and committed trekkers. Dorje Lakpa Expedition with Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition is an excellent opportunity for adventure seeking climbers to explore the less beaten Langtang region while achieving the summit of Mt Dorje Lakpa for a life time experience.

Dorje Lakpa Expedition with Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition starts at Kathmandu. After spending a full day sightseeing at Kathmandu, we will take a long and scenic drive towards Dunche. From Dunche we start to trek on a trail that passes through dense forest filled with rhododendron, oak and pine trees towards Kyangjin Gompa. Acclimatization is very crucial in higher altitudes to avoid mental and physical sickness. We will make a hike up to Tsergo-Ri for acclimatization and enjoy the stunning views of breathtaking valleys and mountains within Langtang valley. From there we head towards Dorje Lakpa Base Camp. Once at the base camp our Sherpa crew will quickly set up the camp and make necessary checks on health conditions and climbing gears.

Fully acclimatized and properly equipped, we will follow the footsteps and guidance of our experienced climbing experts and head towards the summit of Mt Dorje Lakpa. Once at the top we are rewarded with magnificent views of  chains of mountains within Langtang Himal ranges including Langtang Lirung 7245m, Pemthang Karpo 6830m, Gangchenpo 6387m and across the border in Tibet rises the huge mass of Shishapangma 8046m. Having achieved our target summit, we descend gradually to reach the base camp. From the base camp, we will retrace our steps on the same trail that heads back through Langtang village, Lama Hotel and back to Syabrubesi. Mount Dorje Lakpa !! Thanks Nepal Guide treks

We were a group of 5 person, waning to climb Mount Dorje Lakpa. Fortunately, we happened to knock the door of Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition. We were greeted very humbly.

By the time  we were drinking our tea – our whole trip was already organized.  Our trekking route was less beaten trail, so our trekking was amazing mainly because it was less crowdy with rich natural and cultural wonders to explore.

Our climbing guide and expert was – Sonam Sherpa. He always made sure that our health conditions were fine and took suggestions from us before doing anything. So, once again we just want to thank whole team of Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition for offering us great trekking experience as well as thrilling climb o Mt. Dorje Lakpa. We would for sure come back to do more adventure relative activity in Nepal. With our open heart we recommend  – Nepal Guide Treks and Expeditions – for adventure related activities in Nepal-
