What Our Client Say?

Dear Prakash,

Sorry for my late reply, I am very busy with my school now.
All is well, we came back after a good entire day of stopover in Mumbai. Very tiring.

I treasure very much our trip to Nepal, it was really very good. have told of our trip to friends, there may be some other group interested in your expeditions in the future. On my side, I would like to make a 4,500m and 5,000m before attempting one of your 6,000m, maybe Island Peak. I have no idea about the timing, I only know I would like to do it at some point in the next 5 years.

I will let you know in case there is anybody interested in trekking in Nepal.

Until that moment, stay safe and in good health.

Hi Prakash!

Sorry for not having written earlier. I am fine, back in Sweden, but we have been at our summerhouse in southern Sweden and the connection out there in the countryside is quite shaky so I have mainly been offline, working as a forestwoman cutting down trees and burning them so that we can see the sea:-)

Thank you so much for everything you did for me and us during my time in Nepal. I know you were both the brain and the engine behind the success of the tour and I am very grateful for that, including letting Ang Dawa and Sonam accompany me on the tour, they were more than perfect. And all other staff (porters) were excellent as well. I have nothing to comment I would like to improve from your sida. I would not mind doing this again but in such a case even arranging the international flights and preparations here myself too. The flights the group got from and to Copenhagen were worst possible (my own was so smooth) and the preparations were in some cases ridiculous like the advice to walk in sandals and not trekking shoes, not bringing a sleeping bag (that was ok for most though, but I would have recommended it) and I would also have stressed the importance of rain coverage - which I could and did as soon as they arrived to KTM. I am often sighing of relief when I think about Ang Dawa's choice to come along on the tour despite the fact that his close brother in law died the same night the group arrived. It must have been a difficult choice and I am just so happy he chose to come along, he was very important for the success of the tour, the trek in particular.

I have a rather new DVD, I think, about Nepal mad be NTB, DFID, SNV, UNDP and the Tourism Ministry called Conervation for our Common Future and also an extensive DVD with photos from the trek that we made so for the time being I think we are quite fine with info of Nepal including the stuff in my brain, haha.

My family, especially my children, do want to go very badly to Nepal where they have never been. I have checked prices for airtickets and right now me and Anders, my husband, are thinking about it.

I hope you are doing fine in Kathmandu Prakash. Please give my best regards to Ang Dawa and Sonam.

Best wishes

Ellika

Annapurna Circuit Trek + Poon Hill (10days) I had a fantastic time trekking with Nepal Guides. Traveling alone and with only little time in my schedule I decided to go with package with this company. I was not disappointed. Prakash stuck with the price offered despite 2 other people dropping out of the party. Ramu, the guide, was an absolute legend. Initially worried about the lack of company on the trek but Ramu and I had a great time. He was well mannered, knowledgeable and good fun He offered a unique service. Which induced Surya desserts? We even went foraging for wild mushrooms which we had freshly looked for one lunch. My guide at me set the pace which allowed us to save one day and going no the opportune to see so much more for the allocated time period. All in all, I had a wonderful time trekking with this company. Their service is very professional and I would recommend them to anybody.

Annapurna Circuit Trek (off season) Our group just returned from the Annapurna Circuit having spent 12 days trekking. Despite one or two mishaps-altitude sickness forced us to backtrack on day 8 preventing ascension of Throng La Pass. I believe the trip was a monumental success. A great, challenging insight into Nepalese life and culture. Special mention must be given to our guide Mukesh and our porter Dhurba. Their positive attitude and good humors made the trek infinitely more enjoyable and naturally we would have been up shiitake without them.

Before going maybe consider the following.
# your diet will be severely limited (especially during monsoon season) to bread, rice and noodles.
# Invest in good rain protection including pack cover
# and maybe buy some crackers so you can train mountain dogs to follow you. If you’re like me. Having an animal companion is just plain awesome.

Thank you to Nepal guide treks & Expedition, my porter and guide (Durba and Pusker) for showing me the wonderful natural landscape of the Annapurna Circuit. I found the guide and porter from your service to be friendly, professional and committed to providing a high quality of a trip. I would happily recommend this organization to future trekkers.

I could highly recommend to this company and our guide Biraj. I didn't realize when we signed up to have a guide that we would actually get a waiter and servant as well !

He did everything to make me comfortable and happy, making sure that I had everything that I needed. His knowledge of the Annpurna range was extensive when asked about the name of one particular mention, he replied by starting the names and exact heights of all the visible mountains in the range. On top of this, he is a friendly guy, inquisitive about my own culture and more than willing to talk about his fantastic trek!

We would like to thank you for looking after us so well on the ABC trip in April. For me having been previously in October 2001, I was really please to see such a vast difference in the spring. The snow and flora combined with the amphitheatre that is the sanctuary was mind blowing.

I will definitely choose Nepal Guide Treks when next I travel back to Nepal. We are off to the Alps in August to traverse the Haute Route from Chamonix to Zermatt and then attempt Mont Blanc. I only hope our guides are as enthusiastic as the staff at Nepal Guide Treks.

Having engaged the services of Nepal Guide Treks in October 2007 there was no question at all that when I went back with my wife in june 2008 that we would once again be calling on the professional services of Prakash and his team to organise everything for our Poon Hill & Ghorephani Trek and Chitwan National Park. As on our first visit to Nepal we could not fault the way in which we were looked after from our pickup at the airport to the way all our needs were met. Our guide Rajendra went well out of their way to look after us and we thoroughly enjoyed having their company and knowledge on the trek. They always listened to our needs while trekking and we only walked at a pace that suited us.

We would highly recommend Nepal Guide Treks to anybody wanting to visit Nepal.

The food was surprising good 'dahl and rice' P9okhara is a welcome change to Kathmandu very relaxing and lovely people I recommend to stay in the silver oaks guest house and drink in pyramid bur nearby.

Dawa (Sherpa) made the trip very memorable , an excellent sherpa, a very strong hiker, good company great fun and highly recommend although he needs more practice on the snooker table.

From the moment i bumped into D.B. at the airport I felt these guys were a safe bet. I had no previous experience of trekking or Nepal. But Prakash listened

to my plans and put together a great trip. The price was very reasonable, and he managed to get me a guide, Dawa Sherpa, who was happy to carry my pack. He

was a great guy to walk with for 22 + days, nothing was ever a problem, he always give me bet price for lodging, food, beer + cigarette and other essentials.

Whenever I wanted to rest, we rested, when I wanted to push onto the near village, sometimes in the dark, we would. He didnt complain once. Ever ewhen I

suggested we climb Island Peak (6189m.) with no climbing experience, he made it happen, using his own experience and Savoy and contacts,. We got a permit and

equipment from chulung , and a second guide, with excellent experience- and up we went . It was the perfect end to a superb trip, huge amount of fun, great

exercise, great value. You should use this company, Nepal Guide Treks, they will listen to you and you can trust them on price, knowledge, experience, and

general ease + pleasantness to deal with.

Have fur, all the best and let these guys with after your.

He was also very aware of indemnity me felling me all about various temples and other points of intent along the way. How always put me this saying ?this is your holiday? thank you very much Bishnu! And thank you prakash.

If you are reading this then you are one lucky human ! Prakash and the boys at Nepal Guide Treks & Expedition really know their stuff.

Me and my buddy Kyle were lucky enough to stumble upon this opportunity early in our first Nepal trip. We went out on the Annapurna trail and did one of the best trekking i've ever done in my life. I have been trekking all over the U.S. for years but none of it compores to the stuff we did here. The viens, heights, people, and ambiance are really unlike any other place on earth. Also, when you have an awesome guide, like we did with Bishnu, you'll truely be able to take in everything the Nepali way. I feel very fortunate to have treked with Nepal Guide Treks and if I come back, I should say When i come back I'll definately be contacting them again. I suggest you book with them, you wont be displeased I wish you the best of luck on your treck and urge you to place your trust in Prakash and Bishnu, they're stand up dudes.

It is hard to articulate how lucky and thankful I am that I walked into Nepal Guide Office from the first moment and first cup of tea I was treated with respect and honesty. There are so many trekking companies in KTM, it is almost impossible to know who to trust, my instinct, after visiting countless agencies, told me Prakash would make my trip memorable. He far and away exceeded my expectations; I first did the Annapurna Circuit Trek, what a way to first see Nepal! My guide was Rajan, he made me feel night at home and gave me such an ?inside? look at the scenery and Culture, I was then supposed to leave Nepal and travel to China. However I had such a great time on my first trek, I decided to stay and climb the Island Peak and do an Everest region trek. Prakash custom scheduled a trip for me. In a word, it was amazing! Again, Rajan was my guide for the trek. Ang Dawa was my climbing guide. I cannot say enough how much fun Island Peak Was. I have been traveling for quite a while and Prakash and Nepal Guide Treks are truly the capstore of my trip. Please feel free to email me with any questions or more info. Id love to talk about my adventures!
