Island Peak Climbing is a sublime effort. Island peak otherwise known as Imja Tse stands at the altitude of 6189m above the sea level. It is located at the beautiful Imja Valley on the Everest Region. It is named Island Peak as it looks like an island in a sea of ice from Dingboche. This peak is the most searched trekking peak in the world.
In comparison to other mountain peaks, this peak is relatively difficult to climb. The Island Peak climb is straight forward with some technical section (300m) in the beginning and near to the summit. However, with the experienced trekking guide and your own determination make you succeed in the mission of island peak mountaineering.
Island peak Trek is one of the most popular and second busiest trekking destinations after Annapurna region. It was first conquered by an expedition team that was preparing to climb Mt. The scene from the summit is incomparable as well as captivating.
Island Peak Trekking leads us through the rich countryside which is also a melting pot of both Nepalese as well as Tibetan cultures. Likewise, the journey also offers some of the most bewitching scenery of Khumbu and Dingboche. The stone village filled with Buddhist shrines excites us towards the ice climbing of the mountain.

Dear Bhupendra, Basu, Prakash and all our friends at Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition,
Thank you for our second Island Peak Trip to Nepal. E. B.C. and Island peak was an excellent experience for us as was the Annapurna trek last year.
We look forward to seeing you again next year for our third trip to Nepal.
With every best wish, Martin, Jom & Liz Summit
It is hard to articulate how lucky and thankful I am that I walked into Nepal Guide Office from the first moment and first cup of tea I was treated with respect and honesty. There are so many trekking companies in KTM, it is almost impossible to know who to trust, my instinct, after visiting countless agencies, told me Prakash would make my trip memorable. He far and away exceeded my expectations; I first did the Annapurna Circuit Trek, what a way to first see Nepal! My guide was Rajan, he made me feel night at home and gave me such an? inside? look at the scenery and Culture, I was then supposed to leave Nepal and travel to China. However I had such a great time on my first trek, I decided to stay and climb the Island Peak and do an Everest region trek. Prakash custom scheduled a trip for me. In a word, it was amazing! Again, Rajan was my guide for the trek. Ang Dawa was my climbing guide. I cannot say enough how much fun Island Peak Was. I have been travelling for quite a while and Prakash and Nepal Guide Treks are truly the milestones of my trip. Please feel free to email me with any questions or more info. Id love to talk about my adventures!
Cheers, Tommy Trause
Many thanks to Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition for providing us top level of service of the island peak, even before and after the trip. Very impressive job done by the Sherpa team, and Ang-Dawa (our guide) full of technical climbing knowledge. We really admire his way of guiding and tackling challenges. When we reached the top, we had up-close views of Everest and other towering high mountains. We have a lot of pictures and good memories of the trip. Hopefully, we will come back for doing more peak climbing together with Nepal Guide Treks and Expedition.
